Pope Clement XIII

His Eminence Carlo Cardinal Rezzonico dei conti della Torre, Cardinal Priest of San Marco, Bishop of Padua. Elected Bishop of Rome on 6 July 1758 in the Vatican Apostolic Palace, taking the name Clement XIII, and was crowned on 16 July.

Pope Clement XIII died on 2 February 1769 in Rome, in the 11th year of his pontificate. He was buried on 8 February in the Patriarchal Vatican Basilica, and his mortal remains were transferred on 27 September 1774 within the same basilica.
