I have today found this blog. Lover of futility You might be, but let me make this clear: I LOVE to read this and I believe I have found a blogger that must feel much like me before things. And I am, in heart, catholic too.

Concerning the announcement of the Pope, it was indeed astonishing. But wisely decided and, frankly, brave too. The Church needs a leader that can keep his pace up and I admire that he put the needs of the church before the preassure of tradition.

I will follow this blog closely!! But, just one thing: there are many pictures that are blank now. I would be very greatful if You could update them...

And last: I am not a BELIEVER in the power of relics, atleast no greater ones but the ones that we create ourselves in reverence of them, but I love the atmosphere and estetics this creates.

It may be, that the monuments and tombs in one sense are the most profane things there are, truly In This World, truly physical pieces of art, just as the body of Pius IX also is the most worldy remains of the person he was. But then... the Church is also a wordly manifest of the wordly humans belief. GOD can neither be expressed in words, nor carved in stone. There will only be gestures of our wishes and imaginations of our hopes and picures of Him. He is simply too great to understand, not to mention express.

But these gestures... how beatiful are they not? It is man at man's best. And futile as it might be, it is DEFINITELY well worth to love!!
