Charles Brown, the recently-named Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland was today consecrated bishop in St Peter's Basilica by Pope Benedict XVI.

A blog which aims to suggest to its readers that the externals of religion, while important, are not the be all and end all. As Psalm 4 tells us 'O men, how long will your hearts be hardened, will you love what is futile and seek what is false?' At the same time it will be keeping an eye opened for other stories of interest.
