Earlier tonight a prayer vigil in preparation for the beatification of Pope John Paul II was held in Rome's Circus Maximus. Among those attending was the late Pontiff's secretary, now Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz, and Sister Marie Simon-Pierre, whose inexplicable cure from Parkinson's Disease was the miracle needed to beatify Pope John Paul. At the close of the vigil, those attending were addressed - via videolink - by Pope Benedict XVI.
