Dear Lover of Futility

Armagh cathedral interiors are all very well, but what have you to say about the burning issue of the day: the succession in Down and Connor - particularly the Irish Independent's story that clerics have been placing bets on Noel Treanor? Indiscretion by insiders with advance knowledge? Greed? Sleaze? Or simple stupidity?
