Pope Innocent XIII
His Eminence Michelangelo Cardinal dei Conti, dei duchi di Poli, Cardinal Priest of Santi Quirico e Giulitta, former Bishop of Viterbo e Toscanella with the title of Archbishop ad personam. Elected Bishop of Rome on 8 May 1721 in the Vatican Apostolic Palace, taking the name Innocent XIII.
Pope Innocent XIII died on 7 March 1724 in Rome, in the 3rd year of his pontificate. He was buried on 12 March in the Grottoes of the Patriarchal Vatican Basilica.
